Council Member

Oren is Professor of Architecture and Head of Portsmouth School of Architecture at the University of Portsmouth. Before this he was Professor of Architecture at University of Salford, and prior to that was Dean of Faculty at Arts University Bournemouth, which was preceded by a Head of School post at University for the Creative Arts. He has practiced and taught internationally, including in Germany and Sweden, and has published widely, most recently in the book Architecture and Collective Life.

Oren has been an external examiner at various universities; currently he is Chief Examiner at the Manchester School of Architecture. He was previously on SCHOSA council from 2006 - 2009.
